Diana Moore of the Bonner County Sheriff's Office investigated a teletype report about a sale of industrial equipment. Her follow up linked stolen gear to a Dover Gravel pit burglary on August 8 1970 and helped secure warrants. Wally Graberistein 19 Hope Idaho and Vince Casper 18 Spokane were arrested in Spokane on first degree burglary charges. Bond set at 1000 each. Extradition waiver to be sought.

Coroner Confirms Heart Attack In Fatal Wrenco Loop Crash
Banner County coroner Barry Nelson announced that William Bailey 80 of Green Acres Washington died from an acute myocardial infarction heart attack in the single vehicle crash on SH 200 near Wrenco Loop. The death will not be listed as a highway fatality. An autopsy was ordered to confirm the cause.
