Bill Watkins accepts a Certificate of Award and plaque from Walt Carroll and Jay Sherar in Coeur d'Alene for the Sandpoint District's safety record. The 641,500 man hours from July 16, 1964, to Sept. 30, 1969, without a loss-time accident. The district spans Sandpoint to the Canadian border and Eureka Montana to Meta line Falls Washington.
