Ice Hazard Causes Vehicle Damage on U S 200
A 52 year old Hope woman lost control on an icy spot along U S 200 and collided with guardrails near Hope at milepost 449 on the new bridge. The car had 600 dollars in damage and she was uninjured.

The Idaho Public Utilities Commission issued a notice of intent to consider a seven percent rate increase proposed by the Idaho Motor Tariff Bureau on hauling lumber and forest products under Modified Procedure. Salvage Crew To Reattempt Retrieval Of Sunk Seaplane
Edwin Peterson, a Boise businessman, located the sunken seaplane at Lucky Peak reservoir seven weeks after a crash during a demonstration flight. The craft lies about 125 feet deep and was left after two grappling hooks failed to hold the plane while boats tried to tow it ashore.

Dog banned for life after attack in Las Vegas
A black Labrador accused of killing another dog was banned for life by Municipal Judge Robert Mullens. The owner, Donna Williams, was fined $25 for allowing the dog to run at large. The judge said the dog defends her children now in California and warned it will be picked up and destroyed if seen again in Las Vegas.
