He recently moved to Sandpoint from Spokane with his wife Susan and four children, saying Ziggy's will keep its service standards while expanding local ties. The store operates Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 30 p.m.

USDA Extends Suspension of Inland Empire Milk Order Diversions
The USDA suspends the 50 percent limit on producer milk diverted to nonpool plants for December and January in the Inland Empire market covering parts of Washington and Idaho. Up to 70 percent may be diverted, extending a rule in place since September and expiring November 30.

IRS Warns Bookmakers On Federal Tax Compliance
Boise Idaho March 1933 The Internal Revenue Service issued a warning to bookmakers, numbers and policy operators, and others handling wagers that they must pay a $500 Federal occupational tax and purchase a gambling tax stamp. The law also imposes a 2 percent excise tax on wagers and requires registration with the IRS. Noncompliance can lead to criminal prosecution, civil penalties, fines, and imprisonment.
