Reappraisals Questioned in Bonner County Tax Review

Bonner County residents say reappraisals by the Assessor’s Office yield little value after six years of funding from property tax funds. Bonner County considers spending at least 100000 for a fee appraiser to finish state mandated property value reappraisal. Assessor Denis Benda says land reappraisal now and land-only appraisal likely, with estimates due by Dec 22 and commissioners to decide soon.

Black Ice Causes Minor Accidents In Idaho

At least four vehicle mishaps were under investigation by the Idaho State Patrol and the Bonner County Sheriff’s Office this morning due to hazardous black ice. One car overturned near Careywood injuring at least one person. an ambulance was requested about 8 30 am. Other crashes occurred at Nesbitts Curve on State Highway 200 east of here, on State Highway 200 east of Laclede, and at Sagle Road and S95 junction. Two city crashes Monday caused no reported injuries. one involved Kaci K Breese and another with Carol Ann Johnson.
