Accidents Plague Area Traffic Tuesday

Three traffic accidents were reported Tuesday with one injury complaint. Kyle Menard, 15, was injured in a collision involving William J. Bailey and George S. Robinson. Robinson cited for failure to yield. Bailey’s vehicle about 700 dollars damage, Robinson about 1 000 dollars. A separate crash south of Long Bridge led to leaving the scene citation for Kathleen Johnson. minor damage to both cars. First Avenue crash blamed on heavy traffic. Near-Fatal Boating Incident Averts Tragedy on Lake Pend Oreille

A Montana man rescued Bruce Butler, Judy Butler, and Mrs. Dave Smith after their sailboat drifted toward high tension lines over Ellisport Bay.
