Nixon Holds Idaho Falls GOP Strategy Talk During Stop

President Nixon met with Idaho's top Republicans at Fanning Field airport in Idaho Falls for a brief 20 minute session on political issues en route to Dallas. Attendees included Sen. Len Jordan Rep. Orval Hansen Lt. Gov. Jack Murphy and Secretary of State Pete Cenarrusa with Gov. Cecil Andrus welcoming Nixon and discussing Sawtooth National Park plans.

Leo Cove, owner-manager of the Anchor Bar in Sandpoint, announced Thursday the start of a new stock car track in the Sandpoint area. Kenneth Holt of School District 82 reported a break-in and vandalism at Idaho Hill School. A janitor caught three boys. 38 windows broken. Parents offered to replace the windows. no legal action planned pending further district review.
