Waterways Boat Mo After Response Complaint

Bonner County Commission Chairman Jim Brockway said the Waterways Patrol boat for Lake Pend Oreille has been moved to Sandpoint and will be docked there for the rest of the boating season. A second patrol boat used on the Pend Oreille River in the Priest River area was also brought to Sandpoint for K and K week activity. The move from Hope followed criticism of the sheriff’s office response time to an emergency on the lake.
