University Plans Sports Stadium in Idaho
University of Idaho officials announced a new football stadium planned on campus with initial seating for 16 000 and room for 8 000 more, targeting completion by fall 1972. The project remains funded by student fees and will be designed by a Boise firm. a running track and new facilities are also planned.

Man Dies After Car Train Crash East of Spokane
Spokane, Wash. Robert Jay Cline, 38, was killed when his car collided with a Burlington Northern freight train at a crossing east of Spokane. His wife Terise, 20, was critically injured with a severed leg and other injuries. The westbound train, led by Cylde Smith, was traveling about 60 mph. Cline was thrown 90 feet, his wife about 50 feet. She was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital in critical condition.
