Burglary Suspects Plead Not Guilty in Sandpoint Case
Three suspects charged with first degree burglary in the Pend Oreille Sport Shop break in appeared in District Court before Judge Dar Cogswell. Rodney Little Leonard Bromley and Harold Rivers waived 24 hour consideration and pled not guilty. Bond reduced to 3000 each and a venue change motion noted for decision.

Man Electrocuted In Boise While Moving House
A 31 year old Boise workman James C. Watkins was electrocuted late Monday afternoon at the Black Cat and Amity Road intersection near Meridian. He was on the roof of a house being moved from Nampa to Kuna when the accident occurred.

Trailer Loses In Train Crash At Sagle Crossing
Burlington Northern train struck a camping trailer left on the tracks after its hitch tore loose from a 1964 Chevrolet driven by Alice M. Wallace 23 of Sand Point. The accident caused about 1000 dollars in damage with no injuries to Wallace or her two children Cynthia four and Teresa two.

Thama Rocks Road Project Advances With Pre-Splitting Technique
Work on the Thama Rocks and Johnson Creek project on U S 2200 between Priest River and Sandpoint progresses rapidly.
