S H Davis of Mullin died June 5 at Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held June 7 at Mullin Methodist Church conducted by Rev Morgan of Abilene. Survived by widow Sally Ingram four daughters three sons a sister two brothers and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Born March 18 1865 in Tennessee he came to Texas as a child. Both wives preceded him in death. Mrs F S Aylor of Brownwood visited Yom B Aylor and family Sunday and Sunday night.

Ford Rites Held Wednesday for Walter Ford
Funeral services for Walter Hassell Ford a yard farmer of Elm Grove after 23 years. He died Tuesday June 4 in a Cisco hospital. Surviving are his wife two daughters two sons two sisters six brothers and two grandchildren. Ford born Lometa lived in Richland Springs later moved to Elm Grove where he operated a stock farm. He was a Holt Baptist Church member and school trustee at Elm Grove and Richland Springs. Services were conducted by Rev Harry Robinson and Bro D F Brown with pallbearers named from Mercury Brownwood and other towns.

Richland Springs school board elected Jerry Sessom of Brady as high school coach for the coming term. Sessom, 22, holds a BA from Sul Ross College in Alpine, lettered in football basketball and track at Brady and San Angelo College, captained football at San Angelo, and coached Sul Ross track. He is married with twin daughters and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J Q Sessom of Brady.
