The Bowser women and girls 4-H Club met at Mrs. W. R. Martins on May 10 with eleven girls seven women and Miss Dry plus her sister. They planned a quilt fund and cheese making from five gallons of milk. The next meeting is set for May 24 at Mrs. Hammonds. World’s Fair opens May 27 in Chicago featuring the Firestone Singing Fountain. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Letbetter depart for University of Texas summer school.
