Bus Service Starts On Sierra Madre Route Tomorrow
Inauguration of motor coach service between Sierra Madre and San Marino begins tomorrow, replacing the rail shuttle during operating hours and supplemented by through rail service during morning and evening rush hours. The route mirrors the current rail line via Huntington Drive, Sierra Madre Boulevard, Baldwin Avenue, and Mountain Trail Avenue. Fares remain the same and a special loading area west of the San Marino station will handle transfers. Timetables are available.

Child Injured At Intersection In Los Robles Mission Area
Gary Richard Crane a five year old son of the Cranes of 1725 El Molino avenue suffered facial and head contusions and a fractured left leg when he darted into the crosswalk at Los Robles and Mission. Driver Charles Prince of 3142 Vaquero Street Los Angeles said he halted at a boulevard stop but the child ran into the path. Gary was taken by city ambulance to Huntington Memorial Hospital and is a kindergarten pupil at Claibourn School.
