Clyde C. Hurley died of a heart attack at his Alta Den a home Friday morning. He was garden page editor and head of the Pasadena Star News photo dept for eleven years and a leading San Marino Boy Scout pioneer. He helped found the Boy Scout house in City Park and was famed for kindness and scoutwork.

One of Southern California’s most complete summer recreation programs opens at Huntington School in San Marino starting the Monday after school ends, June 22, and runs weekdays through July 31.
