Summer Swim Season Heats Up at San Clemente Center
Starting Monday the San Clemente Aquatics Center will offer recreational swimming daily, with Vista Hermosa Sports Park pools open weekends noon to 4 pm since May 11. Weekday hours 1 to 3 pm, other times for swim programs. Resident rates 2 to 8 dollars by age. non residents up to 6 to 8 dollars. Information at sanclemente.org or 949 429 8797.

SCHS Lots Getting Restriped This Weekend
San Clemente High School will restripe the Pico Presidio and upper campus parking lots over the weekend. Work began Friday and runs through Monday according to Principal George Duarte. Limited parking will be available by the office and Triton Center for students with appointments.

Gas prices rise with few stations holding steady
Gas prices climbed across San Clemente with Arco and United the only stations keeping line values. Regular gas ranged from 3.89 to 4.29 dollars per gallon, up 4 to 10 cents from a week ago. a week earlier the low was 3.88 and the high 4.19 dollars.
