Ford Plant Drives Saline Tax Hike and Budget Jump

Sixteen Saline Jaycees traveled to Battle Creek on May 3 and won two regional awards at the annual meeting. The Saline club touted itself as the fastest growing Jaycee chapter in Michigan, reporting a 300 percent membership increase this year. Jameson Ford, Saline president, was named key man as the club also earned a traveling trophy based on man miles traveled.

A pregnant member wore a mini skirt wedding dress, drawing huge laughs. The group, now 29 members with five new, hosts three upcoming auxiliary meetings and an orientation before signing up.
