Budget Billing Plan For Heating Bills Adopted By Gas Company
Michigan Consolidated Gas Company announces a budget plan to level nine months of heating costs from September to May. Customers apply. estimates and computer calculations set monthly payments at one ninth of anticipated use. End-of-season true-up credits or debits appear on June bills with no extra carrying charges.

The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Department reports 635 complaints answered in February 1963, 29 arrests, 70 warrants closed, and 558 civil papers served. There were 105 accidents with 73 property damage and 32 personal injuries, no fatalities, and patrol cars logged 46 647 miles. The Dog Control Division handled 129 pickups and 203 complaints. The Drivers License Bureau issued 1 609 licenses, collecting $4 260.00 in fees. Inmates were served 5 277 meals. Mr and Mrs Clyde Kruger entertained Mrs Fred Ferguson Mrs Ernest Siewert and Randy at dinner for Mrs Siewert’s birthday.
