Saline High School Student Council invites 20 international students from Germany Sweden Norway Finland Uruguay Brazil Argentina and several African nations to stay with host families in Washtenaw County March 12 to 14. Students will attend classes give country talks join a panel discuss politics education parent child relations and dating customs and join a potluck dinner and American square dancing before returning home Saturday afternoon.

Saline Jaycees sponsor a four performance Memorial Day Weekend Rodeo at the 4-D Ranch on Waters Road with riders from across the United States. Committees led by Charles Lamberson and George Newton organize ads finance concessions grounds and ticketing. Bands to Play In District Festival Saturday
Saline High School and Junior High bands participate in the District Festival at Lincoln High School. The 76 member Junior High Band leaves at 7 15 am with a 8 50 am performance and returns about 11 am. The 86 member Senior High Band departs at 3 30 pm performs at 5 15 pm and returns about 7 pm. Both bands won first in 1962 and 1963. Director Art Katterjohn declines predictions.

Firemen's Ball Saturday With Kenny Volz Orchestra
