St James UCC to observe 80th anniversary Sunday
St James United Church of Christ plans an 80th anniversary observance on Sunday June 30 with two services. The morning sermon by Rev Henry G Kroehler, president of the Michigan Conference UCC, and a homecoming evening message by Rev Armin C Bizer accompany a browsing table and light refreshments. The church was organized in 1883 in the Benton school and joined the UCC in 1958, serving Saline Clinton and surrounding neighborhoods.

School to Keep Memento for Former Teacher
The Board of Education accepted for safekeeping a loving cup once given to the late Mary Morden to honor her 26 years as a teacher.
