Detroit Edison Sponsors Joint Picnic With Livingston County
The Detroit Edison Company hosts a picnic for Electrical and Foods members and families in partnership with Livingston County at Kensington Metropolitan Park. Lunch is at noon at Martindale Beach pavilion with an afternoon of games and swimming. Each club provides its own transportation.

Miss Mary Schumaker of Ann Arbor is named state Grange sewing contest winner in the youth class for girls 15 to 17. She receives a transistor radio and her dress will advance to the national contest later this month. she is a Saline High School junior, daughter of Mr and Mrs Robert E Schumaker of Pleasant Lake Road.

A H Members To Attend MMPA Tour
Three county youths Phil Hitchingham Gordon Hassett and Donald Diable were chosen as delegates to the Michigan Milk Producers Association 4 H Milk Marketing Tour on June 13 and 14 in Detroit The trip will cover milk marketing roles and include Twin Pines Dairy a Cinerama showing a Tigers Red Sox game and an election and meeting of a junior MMPA Board of Directors with all meetings at the new MMPA offices.
