US-12 motorcycle crashes spark two day string note
Police report three motorcycle mishaps on US-12 over two days. Kirk Bowen of 210 Wheeler Ct. was treated at Saline Community Hospital after a July 10 collision with a car driven by Sandra Moore of Manchester. On July 11 Emmanuel Sailuna and Robert Lemieux collided, followed minutes later by Jane Haggarty injuring her left ankle on the same stretch. Police cite passing close to a turning truck and a cyclist’s bike foot catching a bumper as factors. Also July 6 Harvey Henning received care for a fractured arm at St Joseph Hospital after a laundromat accident. Robbery at First Presbyterian Church noted. $30 missing between June 28 and July 6. Firework ordinances reminded.
