FREAKISH STORM AN UNWELCOME GUEST A
A Saline holiday weekend saw several traffic incidents but only one injury case. Four year old Albert Smith II of 290 Clark St sustained a fractured leg and abrasions after swerving into a car driven by 17 year old Douglas Bacon on Clark Street. The boy was treated and released from Saline Community Hospital. No ticket was issued to Bacon. A separate three car collision near N Ann Arbor and Tower Dr caused minor damage with no injuries. A Saline patrol car was damaged when Wendell Eldridge hit it. he may be ticketed for following too closely. The patrol car remained in service after the incident.
