The Cooperative Extension Service sponsors a five week Horse Short course at the Ramada Inn in Ann Arbor starting February 40 with weekly sessions on Wednesdays from 7:30 to 10. Registration begins at 7 p.m. first night. Fee is 7.50 per person for all five sessions. limited to 125 registrants.

PSC Grants Interim 3.2% Rate Increase for Gas Co
The Public Service Commission of Michigan approved an interim 3.2 percent rate hike for Michigan Consolidated Gas Co totaling 9.2 million dollars. The increase will be spread across about 950,000 customers in 43 counties, pending final hearings on a larger 18.4 million request.
