Saline Area Blood Bank hosts a Thursday drive at the Intermediate School from 2 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A full team of registrars nurses and canteen volunteers will assist. Mrs Mamaron, a longtime helper and donor, is recovering from a recent hospital stay and will not attend.

Mayor and Mrs. Jackson T Bennett travel to Winchester Virginia to visit his mother in hospital and expect to return Wednesday. Walter Armbruster hospitalized at St Joseph Hospital in room 6003 and may receive visitors. The Feldkamp family enjoyed a two week Florida vacation with relatives in Zephyrhills and Cape Kennedy with tours to Key West and Miami Beach. Weather was pleasant though cooler than expected.
