Police Action After Back-To-Back Saline Crashes
Dreary rain in Saline led to two collisions on Michigan Ave near McDonald’s Friday morning. Det. Sgt. James Douglas’s patrol car was struck by a eastbound vehicle driven by Carl Gensheimer of 5600 Blue Grass Lane, causing a chain impact with a trailer. All three vehicles sustained damage but no serious injuries. Douglas and Gensheimer treated and released from Saline Community Hospital.
