Daily Feed Rules for Young Ducks
Daily feed for young ducks varies with growth. Each week they gain weight, requiring more feed. Feed only what they will eat cleanly, remove leftovers, and keep troughs clean after every meal. Better to underfeed than waste, as this improves appetite for the next meal.
Inexpensive Shed Is Suitable for Ducks
A duck house only needs to be draft proof and not very warm. A concrete bottom with shavings in the corners provides a dry bed for ten ducks and two drakes. A ten by twelve shed works, but twelve by twenty is better. include a shed roof and one or two slide windows on the south wall for ventilation.
