Saline State Fair: Mrs Bennett Tops G and Baking Divisions
Mrs Thomas Bennett of 1339 Wilts Road Saline won fourteen ribbons in g and baking at the Michigan State Fair this week. She took fourteen firsts seconds and thirds across canning jams fruits jellies vegetables and meat decorating. A mother of three and grandmother of one she has exhibited at the State Fair for fourteen years and has accumulated about 200 ribbons from canned goods.
