Michigan deer fats salvage to fuel explosives plan
Michigan deer hunters may provide about 150 tons of fats for explosives by salvaging six pounds from each of 50 000 deer. A statewide collection system would use individual hunters, clubs, and depots to render fats in Detroit and other cities. The plan covers other fur bearers and selling cooked fats to meat teasers.
