Detroit Creamery Reopens With Steam Power led by Knowles

Detroit's main creamery announces its return with Miss Alice Lamdon and Miss Adaline Kroviak as sales staff. The plant uses steam power and sits in a region famed for top grade cream and butter. Mr Knowles claims Michigan could be served by local butter, though cheaper imports enter eastern cities. The purdling house, built in 1911, closed in 1933 and now reopens with cash payments for cream. The revival highlights strict pasteurizing and thorough cleanliness as keys to success.
