Annual Meeting of Michigan Potato Growers Association
Potato growers from across the state will attend the Michigan Potato Producers Association annual meeting during Farmers Week at Michigan Agricultural College in East Lansing January 31 to February 4. The event will be an educational show with seed sample displays from forty certified fields and graphic demonstrations on fertilization seed spacing and other growing practices. Growers are urged to submit successful demonstrations for exhibit and to request exhibit instructions from H C Moore, secretary, Michigan Potato Producers Association, East Lansing.

More than 100 Michigan entries are already in for the International Hay and Grain Show in Chicago, with judges predicting a strong Michigan showing. An extensive Michigan crops display is being prepared by the State Farm Bureau Seeds Department, the Crop Improvement Association, and the Michigan College of Agriculture to showcase grain quality to national and Canadian visitors.
