Rotary Club hears from Basil Morrison head of the Social Security Board for Jackson Lenawee Hillsdale and Washtenaw counties detailing pension eligibility at age 65 and the disbursement of about a half million dollars yearly with a third in the local area. Milk Subsidy Checks Schedule Announced

Washtenaw Agricultural Conservation Association announced February subsidy rates and May draft dates. February milk 35 cents per cwt and butterfat 5 cents per pound. March and April rates set at 50 cents per cwt and 8 cents per pound. Drafts issued May 23 and 24 in Saline council rooms from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
