Members of the Past Matrons Club will meet at 115 East Michigan Avenue for a dessert luncheon at 1 p.m. Special guest Mrs. Margaret Wall A ato Wallace of Med will attend. Several members including Mrs. Logs Owen Olga Lambarth Mae Wright and Della Austin will be celebrated.
Enrollment started Monday morning with 13 children. Mrs. Alan Barrett of Ann Arbor will teach with two mothers helping daily. The nursery runs 9 to 11 30 a m on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday for five weeks at the Community Hall Saline Valley Farms. A car pool transports children. Mrs William Bailey 408 N Harris Sr handles enrollments for ages 25 to 50 years. An 8 p m meeting is set at the Elementary School to plan further.
Mrs. Carl Carr and Mrs Ferman Clements with husbands from Saline Pontiac and Grosse Pointe spent Sunday in Findley for a farewell to Mr Waters Jr and infant about to leave for Japan on government work. Collected relatives from Columbus joined the gathering.
The Federated Church observes Mothers Day with an 11:00 A.M. worship service. Infant baptism is planned with Elder Arthur Jacobsen assisting. The Westminster Fellowship will honor all mothers and the Reverend Henry McKenzie will deliver the theme Mothers' Influence. Musical selections will be provided by the adult choir under Harold Brown.

Saline school hosts a breakfast Tuesday May 14 at 9. Room mothers and teachers from the Elementary school will be guests of the student council members. All room mothers are urged to attend the breakfast.

Lawrence Oscar Richards of Woodside Milan High School was one of 85 students at the University of Michigan initiated into the Alpha Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa this week. The 49th annual ceremony honored students with high grade averages elected by a special committee.
