Local farm life notes and community updates
In York Two Jesse Bird installs a metal roof and electric lights on his barn at the new farm. Miss Helen Dieterle wins a spelling bee at Lewis school. Farmers plow and plant as heavy rains delay field work. Mrs Fred Steele of Lodi improves her home and barns. Various residents visit family in Detroit and nearby towns as community life continues.
