Charles E. Shaw, a 16 year member of the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Department, resigns from the post of Undersheriff effective April 1. His letter to the sheriff states his resignation from the department.
A 1942 appointment as Deputy led to ranks including detective and undersheriff before 1953 recognition of outstanding abilities. The Sheriff of Washtenaw County commends decades of zeal and public service and wishes happiness in years with loved ones.
