Saline High School Commencement Closes Year
The sixty first annual Saline High School commencement ended Monday evening with Principal Golda C Morford handing diplomas to thirty graduates. Class Night preceded, Rev C E Kircher gave an address on service and cooperation, and Monday's crowd in the gym filled to capacity. Independents Narrowly Lose to Ann Arbor Nine
Saline fell 6 to 5 at West Park as Ann Arbor built a 3 0 start through the first two innings and added again in the eighth. Hoeft hit a ninth inning homer after two outs, and Saline scored in the first two frames but came up one run short. Manchester meets the team Sunday at Tourist Park following the tilt.

Nelson Clough of Apslanti was elected president and Mrs Nelson Clough secretary treasurer. Young and old enjoyed games and stunts. Mary Groff of Ann Arbor noted as oldest member and Barbara Irene Knope born June 7 named youngest. Next reunion set for first Sunday in June 1934 at the same site.
