The marriage of Miss Viola Jedele daughter of Mr and Mrs Edward Jedele and Leon Hack son of Mr and Mrs Fred Hack occurred Saturday July 22. They reside with the bride’s parents for now and plan to move to Ann Arbor where the groom is employed. Prior to marriage the bride worked at Cook Spring and Axle Company.

George J. Walker Dies at Home West of Town
George J. Walker died at his Bridgewater Road home Wednesday after a period of illness. Born April 28, 1860 in Freedom township, he married Emma Blaess April 8, 1889 and they celebrated their golden anniversary this year. Survived by his widow, two daughters Mrs. Rudolph Jedele and Mrs. Sam Lambarth, four grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday at the residence with Rev. A G Wacker officiating. Burial in Oakwood cemetery, Saline.

August John Miller Dies at Home of Son in Bridgewater
August John Miller died last Thursday at his son Carl Miller’s home on Burmeister road. Born June 15, 1862 in Bridgewater township, son of Carl and Magdelene Miller. He married Agnes Finkbeiner in 1894. she died in 1899. Survived by daughter Mrs. John Steudie of Van Dyke Michigan, nine grandchildren, one great grandchild. Funeral at 3 p.m. at residence with Rev. Philipp. burial in St John’s Cemetery, Bridgewater.
