Saline District No 1 Fractional Holds Annual Meeting

The Saline District No 1 Fractional annual school meeting met in the school auditorium on July 23, 1942. President William Austin called the meeting to order as the minutes of the previous annual session were read and accepted. Clarence Cook presented the secretary and treasurer reports, which were read. motion by Mr Wheeler, seconded by George Seeger, accepted the reports.

Guernsey Show Set For Adrian Fairgrounds August Fourth

The annual Guernsey parish show sponsored by the Southeastern Guernsey Parish Show District will be at the Adrian fairgrounds on August 4. Counties Washtenaw Lenawee Monroe and Wayne make up the district with Washtenaw organizers seeking 12 to 15 cattle entries after last year’s sixty head turnout. Michael Sheehan of Saline Valley Farms chairs Washtenaw entries.
