The Federated Church will hold the Ordinance of Communion during the eleven oclock worship service on Sunday July 1. Mr and Mrs Harold Brown choir director and organist will have returned from vacation and the full choir will sing. The pastor theme is The Accepted Time.
The Ladies Aid Society of Federated Church will meet at Mrs. George Austin’s home on Wednesday July 14. The event starts with a potluck picnic lunch with coffee provided by the social committee. A business meeting led by Mrs. Hugh Austin will follow, with devotions by Mrs. Henry McKenzie and the Presbyterian Missionary Report including Mrs. Paul Kiluter’s report on the Synodical Meeting in Alma. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Bowen and family take a week’s vacation at Houghton Lake.
