Nationwide interest centers on a wheat tithing project and a cradling contest set for July 8 in Tecumseh. Saline Rotary hears Frayer criticise reporters during talk at The Tavern
Prof William A Frayer of the University of Michigan history department spoke at the Saline Rotary Club meeting at The Tavern last Thursday noon. He argued that history cannot be fairly written from media reports and that government records provide better sources. Guests included Kenneth Frey with two large A’s on his left shoulder, A C G Langé, D D Conklen, R J Scheuler, C L Corrello, Palmer Carr, and Carl A Curtiss. At meeting end President Lendrum passed the gavel to successor Arthur Heininger.
