Oldsmobile announces 1954 two tone color options across its line with 49 standard combos and five "98" sedan pairings. New safety padded instrument panel is standard on all "98" series with a redesigned cross-shaped gauge layout and convenient glove compartments. Upholstery ranges from cloth and vinyl to leather in multiple color schemes across the Super "88" and "98" models including the Holiday coupe and Starfire.

Olds 1954 Models Debut Ahead of Schedule
Oldsmobile announces the 1954 line will display January 20, a full year early. The new models 88, Super 88, and 98 feature lower bodies, panoramic windshield, redesigned interiors, higher engine displacement, and updated Hydra-Matic etc. Four-way power seats and pedal-base brakes are optional along with improved safety features.
