Saline Hornets beat Milan Reds 28 to 24 at home with a fast start. Wes Jahnke scored 10 points, Bill Koebbe 7, Dale Hirth 6 as a capacity crowd watched. Tomorrow night the Hornets travel to Dexter.

Juniors Present Dirty Work at the Cross Roads Play

Red Cross reports progress on home front sewing drive

The Red Cross folded 2 025 surgical dressings in 269 hours last month. Willing Workers contributed 10 finished shirts and three wheelchair robes, plus one more robe by Mrs. Dora Brow. Sixty Australian bags are being rushed to completion by volunteers. Ed ward Clark hosts shirts and hospital gowns for sewing. A Roll Call begins March first led by Saline Women’s Auxiliary of the American Legion Post.
