Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Emanuel Rentschler who died in Saline hospital last Friday. He was born January 13 1864 in Freedom township. He married Elizabeth Burkhardt April 14 1892 who survives him along with a son Herman of US 112 a daughter Mrs Co E Wittbracht of Detroit and nine grandchildren. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery.

She was a St Pauls church member and Leaves two daughters four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services Sunday at St Pauls with burial in Oakwood cemetery.
