City Council Meeting Acts on Pumps and Meters
City council members at Saline City Hall approved purchasing a store for the pump house. A halfing of charges for Erwin Schmid regarding moving a house was adopted, down from 300 to 150 dollars. The council also voted to buy 24 water meters, down from Strait’s suggestion of 36, and directed the clerk to seek blinker lights at Saline street corners to slow traffic.

The Fun Club plans to furnish a nursery for Saline Community Hospital through events starting in January. Members wrapped and donated 15 plywood puzzles by Kenneth Johnson and dolls to Ann Arbor Santa Claus for needy children.
