Richard Owen Zahn three months old was baptized Sunday morning at St Pauls Evangelical and Reformed Church by Rev Alvin Siemsen. Sponsors were Betty Zahn of Ann Arbor and Theodore Westphal of the U S Navy on twenty day furlough from the battleship South Dakota. Mgr and Mrs Thomas Zahn entertained the family at dinner honoring the baptism.

Pedestrian Escapes With Minor Bruises
Roy Rogers suffered a traffic accident Friday evening while crossing Michigan Ave near Reveling Drug Store. Gerald Coe, driving from East, struck him as the light changed. Rogers losts his balance and was taken to Saline General Hospital with cracked ribs and shock but no broken bones.
