The wedding of Barbara Jean Welter to Gordon Richard Franklin took place at Van Dyke Baptist Church in Detroit with Rev Edgar Sweetland performing. Effie Webber Retires After 15 Years At Ypsilanti State Hospital
A testimonial dinner at Saline Hotel honored Effie Webber on her August 19 1958 retirement from Ypsilanti State Hospital after fifteen years of service. Webber began as a Psychiatric Attendant Nurse at 21 in Kankakee Illinois then Independence State Hospital before joining Ypsilanti in 1943 where she served as Ward Supervisor.
