Joseph DeCommillo, 45, died at noon Sunday when a buzz-saw broke at Joe Colombo’s home near Milford. A saw fragment nearly decapitated him. It marks a second Milford area buzz-saw death in a month, following a March 28 fatal saw accident.

Federated Church announces 10 a.m. worship with special music. Sunday school at 11:15 led by S. Y. Cotton with John Bure as first assistant and Charles Collins as second. Mrs Edna Aprill and Evelyn Ernst provide music. Evening program at 6:30 p.m. for young people and 7:30 worship.
St John’s Lutheran Church Bridgewater led by Pastor M C Phillipp. Divine services at 10 am and Sunday school at 11. English services every second and fourth Sunday. Everyone invited.
The camp committee headed by Prof. H. M. Wright approves two three day adventure trips each week at the Newkirk reservation near Dexter this summer. The program also includes farm life elements and a tree nursery. Fees run six dollars fifty cents for a one week stay and ten dollars for ten days including the three day trip. Many Scouts are saving funds already.
The notice lists subscription prices of 1.50 per year 1.00 for four months 50 cents for two months and 75 cents for six months. It imposes five cents per line for poetry and states obituary and marriage notices are published free of charge. Baptismal services were held at York Baptist church Sunday evening with eight children immersed. Miss Robinson visited Oak Grove school and issued certificates. Mrs. Lewis Ernst and Mrs. Alger Allison attended a Friendship class party at Mrs. Thurman Clay's home in Saline Thursday.
