Ten Years of the Peach Festival Pride Remains
The Leader salutes volunteers who built the Peach Festival into a lasting rural celebration. Families of Queen Dixie Gem and Princess Peach contestants share in the parade and flower exhibits. Lions Rotary orchard growers and merchants all support stalls stands banners and a big Louisiana Tech auditorium event with bands and a Mardi Gras ball in Washington. Ruston plans a full house and invites all to participate in this capitol city north of Louisiana.
