Center Street Home Demonstration Club met at Mrs. ornwin Terry s home on December 1 for its monthly gathering and holiday celebration. The living room and dining room were festively decorated with a pine cone Christmas tree and red tapers. After a business meeting led by Mrs. Blanch Lebhoets ter, an election was held for 195 Vis liner. a Christmas game by Mrs. FE. E. Baugh concluded with gift exchanges and refreshments. Attending were numerous club members and guests including Mrs. Wit Hook and Mrs. Stella Ramaieve.

Colvin Home Hosts Temple Workers Christmas Party
A lively Christmas gathering for Temple workers was held at Mrs. Colvin’s home on Robo Street Tuesday December 1. A covered dish supper and a tree trimmed with tinsel and balls created holiday spirit. Guests read minutes, heard a Bible reading from Matthew 4 18 25, sang carols, and enjoyed a farewell prayer before sharing refreshments. Attendees included Mrs W Mellan Ms Johnson Mrs H Adams Mrs W Sumrall Mrs H Var detmin Mrs RS Mesander Mrs Potts Mrs F J Heard and Mrs Wol Coole with guests Mrs Ed Taylor Mrs Lambert Brooks and Miss Norma Jean Johnson.
