Hillcrest Students Gift Toys to Veterans Hospital in Ruston
Hillcrest Elementary School fifth and sixth graders in Ruston organized a gift drive for the Veterans Hospital in Pinville, each child giving a wrapped gift while receiving none. The project, led by class leaders Bildoves and Mrs Clea Dendy, involved all students and a Nativity scene, highlighting the season’s charitable spirit.

Amvels to Launch Cameron 4-H Poultry Project Next Spring
A Louisiana Amvets and LSU Extension Service initiative will start a Poultry Chain Project in Cameron parish next spring.
