Mickurland Post No 2, American Legion, held its regular monthly meeting in its rooms. George Nicol presided as post commander. Reports covered Armistice Day ceremonies sponsored by the Legion in local high schools. Exercises were led by members of McFarland Post with impressive and joyful displays at the night schools attended. Proposals were made for representatives to attend the American Legion meeting in Baton Rouge on Saturday and Sunday. Refreshments followed the meeting.
